COVID-19

How should you coordinate the ExCeLL program during the coronavirus pandemic?

We understand

We have all been affected by the virus pandemic. We understand that the resulting state mandates and restrictions may prevent your church's ExCeLL classes from meeting in person. Please communicate your concerns with us. We will be flexible with you during this difficult time.

Our Priority

As leaders of your congregation, we understand that you care deeply for their wellbeing, both spiritually and physically. The health of your congregation is our priority as well. For this reason, we recommend virtual alternatives to physical classrooms, should you feel it necessary for the health of your congregation.

virtual classroom options

Many churches are holding ExCeLL classes via Zoom, StartMeeting, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams, or some other platform for conducting classes online. You may use whichever platform you prefer, but please select one that allows you to confirm students' attendance.

virtual classroom Stipulations

Students must abide by the ExCeLL attendance policy and attend classes in real-time. Classes cannot be recorded to watch at a later time, except in cases of serious emergency, and only if the instructor/pastor consents. However, the student will be counted absent for that class if they are not electronically present for it.

Our prayer for you

We know that times are difficult, but we also know that God has us all in His hands. We pray for wisdom and guidance for pastors. We pray for peace and comfort for all our ExCeLL students, instructors, and their churches. We are encouraged in knowing that God is still in control and we can trust Him to lead the way through difficult times. Be encouraged!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed,
for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
